Hunting the area for over 29 years this outfitter has the experience and knowledge to help ensure each hunt is a hunt of a lifetime. Horseback hunts are 12 days, Backpack hunts are 10 days.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
Description
Get ready to experience some of the worlds most beautiful country. This is a tough physical hunt pushing most hunters farther than before. Hunters will ride long miles on horseback each day as well as hike steep banks with sliding rock. Camps will be comfortable with a base lodge for assistance in your first day in and last day out. A typical horseback hunt will start the morning after your arrival at our base camp with your guide and crew packing up the horses in preparation to head out on the trail.

Each hunt will consist of a support lodge where you will stay before and after your hunts over. . Horseback style hunts will be be conducted out of wall tents and preset camps or spike camps occasionally. Backpack hunts will be conducted with spike camps and occasionally preset camps.

Meals will be provided on every hunt style. But differ between field kitchen and backpack meals. If you have booked a backpack hunt the outfitter will also go over your food rations with you.

Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Norman Wells has daily commercial jet service from Edmonton Alberta provided by Canadian North Airlines. Flights should be available into Edmonton from most major cities in the USA, although some clients choose to drive to Edmonton. Flights from Edmonton to Norman Wells depart early in the morning so most clients will need to spend a night in Edmonton en route. Clients are responsible for charter costs, hotel rooms and meals while en route. Outfitter will provide you with contact information for flights and convenient hotels.
